Multiple monitors: splash screen does not appear with certain monitors

      Description

      Description

      Cloned from the sub-task GDP-120 to hold investigation into issues reported by the GDP maintainers that certain monitors when connected to GDP-ivi9 on Porter do not display the splash screen. This affect when multiple monitors connected to the same board.

      Outcome

      GDP and peripherals is where we are documenting the peripherals that does not work and do work.

            I've not seen this problem occur in quite a while, and definitely not since switching to the baseline10, probably still worth keeping track of though

            I'm happy to close this now, unless any other users have an issue. There are common problems with non-true hdmi monitors (dv-hdmi internally) and some boards having low power hdmi sockets which cannot power certain displays, but these are not GDP issues

            Quick look at comments, it sounds to me this was fixed but we are dropping Faytech support now anyway and this was against GDP9.
