How to build

  1. mkdir $HOME/genivi-baseline
  2. cd $HOME/genivi-baseline 
  3. git clone
  4. git clone git://
  5. git clone git://
  6. cd meta-ivi; git checkout 12.0.0
  7. ./scripts/checkout
  8. cd -
  9. export TEMPLATECONF=`pwd`/meta-ivi/meta-ivi/conf
  10. source poky/oe-init-build-env build
  11. MACHINE=qemux86-64 bitbake nostromo-image


  1. to build the software for other hardware, change MACHINE=...
    for example, MACHINE=qemux86 bitbake nostromo-image

  2. to run emulate machine,
    ../meta-ivi/scripts/runqemu nostromo-image qemux86


meta-ivi 12.0.0 metadata

The meta-ivi-12.0.0_metadata.7z archive should have the following contents:
